County to Expand Hours for Most Libraries to Pre-Pandemic Levels
The county libraries, with two exceptions, will expand the hours open to patrons back to pre-pandemic levels, officials announced. Maggie Nightingale in Poolesville currently is closed for a refresh and Noyes Library for Young Children in Kensington will maintain current operating hours.

Downtown Silver Spring-based United Therapeutics today announced it has partnered with former NFL player Devon Still and his daughter Leah, a survivor of high-risk neuroblastoma, to launch the educational initiative Braving NeuroBLASToma. The initiative aims to shine a light on neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer affecting immature nerve cells called neuroblasts.
