Parks Suspends Alcohol in Parks Pilot Program Effective Today
Montgomery Parks has suspended the park pilot program allowing alcohol consumption without a permit in 13 county parks, effective today (July 1), officials announced. Climate Plan Addresses Seven Broad Areas for Action; County Work Plan Also Released
The county’s new Climate Action Plan released yesterday by County Executive Marc Elrich focuses on seven broad areas where the county will work to meet its goal reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2027, and by 100% by 2035 compared to 2005 levels.
