The County Council plans to vote on a resolution to extend the Ride On system’s fare holiday to Jan. 1, 2022. The resolution will be introduced today (Sept. 28) at 1:30 p.m., and a public hearing will follow, prior to the vote.

Police Investigating Fraud in Silver Spring
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department’s 2nd District Patrol Investigations Unit are investigating the July 12 and July 15 reports of fraud at an apartment building in the 1900 block of East-West Highway. Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help to identify her.
