County Will Reopen Six Libraries, Including Silver Spring, June 1
The county will reopen six libraries, including the Silver Spring Library at 900 Wayne Ave., on Tuesday, June 1, County Executive Marc Elrich announced. The libraries will be open by appointment only for browsing and checking out materials, picking up holds, computer use, print/copy/scan services, information and circulation services only.

The Eleanor Brings Back Brunch Beginning This Weekend
The Eleanor, which reopened April 1 after a pandemic-induced closure, is bringing back brunch beginning this weekend, the company announced. The entertainment/eatery will feature brunch items including a Hangover Burrito, fried chicken and waffles, an Everything Bagel Sandwich, huevos rancheros and more from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
