Planning Board Adopts New Silver Spring Streetscaping Standards
The Montgomery County Planning Board has approved a new set of standards for streetscaping downtown Silver Spring, the agency announced. The Silver Spring Streetscape Technical Manual has been in use since 1992. The current revisions are the result of work that began in the fall of 2017.

Mindbreeze, an Austria-based tech company that provides knowledge management services for international clients, has opened an office in downtown Silver Spring, according to a company press release. A San Francisco company run by three men with local roots is relocating its headquarters to Silver Spring. Truebill Inc., founded in 2011 by brothers Haroon, Yahya and Idris Mokhtarzada, has taken over space in the Silver Spring Centre at 8455 Colesville Rd.
