County Police Make DUI, Handgun Arrests in Takoma Park Area
A county police officer with the Holiday Task Force stopped three men on Nov. 29 after a traffic violation in the Takoma Park area who were then charged with offenses including driving under the influence and handgun possession. County detectives with the Major Crimes Division are still investigating an attempted armed robbery of a food truck in downtown Silver Spring that took place in October. The police have now released surveillance video of the suspect in the incident, which took place at about 5:40 p.m. on Oct. 12.
