Council Approves Resolution Extending Ride On Fare Holiday to 2022
The County Council yesterday voted unanimously to approve a resolution calling for the Ride On fare holiday to be extended through Jan. 1, 2022. “Free and reliable public transportation is an equity issue,” said Councilmember Evan Glass (D-At-Large).

Two Silver Spring Nonprofits Win MCEDC “High Impact” Grants
Two Silver Spring-based nonprofit groups have been awarded High Impact Grants, two of the 108 recipients of awards from the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. The grants were part of the $3.3 million MoCo Economic Development Grant Program for Nonprofits that the MCEDC accepted applications for earlier this year.
