Restaurant patrons can earn a chance to win up to $500 in cash during the 11th annual Taste the World in Fenton Village, back after last year’s modified celebration of local eateries. The event will be held on May 16-22 and about 50 independently owned restaurants will be participating.

The county’s Office of Procurement has launched a new web-based service to connect vendors with county departments in conjunction with Small Business Month, officials announced.
