The upscale Mexican, all-you-can-eat menu at Buena Vida has been eliminated from the Silver Spring restaurant in favor of offering the casual Tacos, Tortas & Tequila fare, said Ivan Iricanin, founder and CEO of Street Guys Hospitality. Police Seek Help to Identify Suspect in Dunkin’ Burglary
The Montgomery County Police Department has released surveillance video of a suspect in a downtown Silver Spring burglary and is asking for the public’s help to identify him. The incident occurred at about 7 p.m. on July 12 at the Dunkin’ at 8401 Colesville Rd.

Republic Garden Temporarily Shut Down by DHHS
The Republic Garden in downtown Silver Spring has been temporarily shut down by order of the Department of Health and Human Services, officials announced. The restaurant/lounge at 8402 Georgia Ave. was given a 30-day closure notice on Sunday, July 26 for not maintaining the minimum of six feet for social distancing.
