County to Host Career Fair at Silver Spring Civic Building

Montgomery County Government will host a free Career Fair & Hiring Expo in May, officials announced:

Come learn and apply for a variety of rewarding public service jobs available with Montgomery County. At the event, you will be able to meet representatives from over a dozen departments, make connections, and even interview same day for select positions.

The expo is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at the Silver Spring Civic Building, located at 1 Veterans Place in downtown Silver Spring.

There will be 15 exhibiting departments at the career fair, including the county’s Alcohol Beverage Services, Emergency Management & Homeland Security, Fire & Rescue Services, and more.

This event is free and open to the public. Interested job seekers are encouraged to register online ahead of time and to bring a resume to the event using a USB flash drive, e-mail, or paper.
