Montgomery County Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Sunday evening in downtown Silver Spring.

Officers responded to Fenton Street & Ellsworth Drive at approximately 8:10 p.m. Sunday evening after being notified of a stabbing that had occurred after an altercation, according to reports.
