Gandhi Brigade Youth Media has settled into its new home at 900 Wayne Ave. and is operating under new Executive Director Anna Danielson. The group, which will be expanding its programming, will hold an open house in October.

Locavino Readies for Mid-August Opening
Locavino, the wine café that will replace Adega at 8519 Fenton St., is planning a mid-August opening, according to an announcement to supporters from owners Jarrod Jabre and Justin Wallace. The café will host a private event for friends and supporters, followed by a grand opening for the general public.

Owner Closes Dip N Rolls to Spend More Time with Family
Dip n Rolls, the café at 8737 Colesville Rd. that featured Vietnamese-style banh mi and spring rolls, has permanently closed. In a note to customers, the owner cited a desire to spend more time with her daughter and help raise her grandchildren as the reason she shut down.
