The county’s Flower Avenue Liquor and Wine store has reopened, officials with Alcohol Beverage Services announced. The store, located at 8706-B Flower Ave., was closed Jan. 20 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Capital One to Close Two Local Branches This Spring
Capital One Financial Corp. will close two of its local branches later this year, a company spokesperson confirmed to the Source. The last day of operations for the locations at 8740 Arliss Street (Takoma Park Shopping Center) in Long Branch and at 8676 Georgia Ave. (corner of Georgia and Cameron Street) will be April 28.
